Mount Shasta International Film Festival

FREE FILM MAKING SEMINAR

with writer, producer, director Jerry Alden Deal
Sunday October 14 from 10:00AM - 1:00PM, COS-Weed in the Life Science Building, Room #3

Jerry Alden DealJerry Alden Deal and his wife Barry have supported the Mount Shasta International Film Festival since its inaugral 2004 year. They live in Weed and also have a home in Ventura, CA. Each year they financially help the Festival because they believe our Film Festival offers so much for the community.

Jerry just finished shooting “Dreams Awake”, the first feature film on Mt. Shasta and in surrounding locations - Weed and Dunsmuir. Many of your friends in the community were extras, actors or helped with production.
Jerry Alden Deal is a professional script writer and has been working in the Film Industry in LA for many years. His dream has been to make a quality American Independent Film, using professional and non-professional talent. He is making his dream come true right here in Siskiyou County.

For the first time we have a local professional filmmaker who will be offering a vivid and realistic film making seminar in our community. Jerry Alden Deal will offer a hands on and interactive seminar. He will discuss taking a film from the dream stage through the nuts and bolts planning and into the execution stage. He will show his work in progress “Dreams Awake,” to all who attend this free seminar.
