Filmmaker Notifications:
Filmmakers will be contacted by e-mail by second week of September regarding the status of their film for the Mount Shasta International Film Festival Official Screening Selection. The Mount Shasta International Film Festival cannot disclose entry status information prior to this time. Submission deadline is August 25, 2008.

Accepted 2008 Filmmakers:
Filmmakers accepted and are attending the Festival are responsible for their travel and all other expenses.

Non-English language produced films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English.

All entrants certify that they have been given full rights to use any and all music in their films.

Exhibition prints must be sent to the film festival prepaid. The Mount Shasta International Film Festival will provide return shipment of films as long as they are being shipped within the continental U.S.A. and NOT an overnight or RUSH delivery. The Mount Shasta International Film Festival will NOT incur the cost of shipment outside of the U.S.A. Fed/Ex or UPS account number must be provided.

Film Producers/Distributors are responsible for insurance and shipment costs of films to the Mount Shasta International Film Festival. The title of the work and name of entrant must be on all mailing containers, labels, can reels and film leaders. All containers must be numbered (E.g. 1 of 1, 2 of 3, etc.) If a print is sent from outside of the U.S. the commercial invoice must contain the film's title, footage, gauge and value.

Film prints and other film material will be handled with utmost care, but neither The Mount Shasta International Film Festival staff nor supporting theater organizations can assume responsibility for damage or loss of the print and other film materials, en route or otherwise, during the course of the Festival's possession of the print.

All stated information, eligibility and submission guidelines, terms and conditions of entry and entry information is subject to change by the Mount Shasta International Film Festival without notice.
